MARIJUANA TOO RISKY TO LEGALIZE
Legalizing marijuana is not a step the United States should take. Time
magazine recently noted that use of marijuana "leads to difficulty in
concentration, attention to detail and learning new, complex information."
Unleashing pot would create an explosion in its use, allowing users to walk
the streets openly, joint in hand, unafraid to expose their listlessness
and lack of motivation. Legalizing weed would accomplish nothing except the
further decline of societal standards. Crippling addictions and lack of
motivation can damage lives.
Is marijuana risky? Absolutely; and it is one risk no one should take.--
