DRUG TEST OFFICIALS

Regarding drug testing in schools: I'm all for drug testing. Science and
tradition both show that children learn best by example. Let's not confuse
kids with a mixed message.

I suggest that any politician, from the governor on down the line, in favor
of drug testing march themselves to the nearest test center and do the deed
themselves. Then publish their results to the public.

Then we could do weekly testing on the police. After all, they carry guns
and make decisions that effect our lives and safety every hour. If they
aren't guilty of anything, they shouldn't object to "testing," right?

We have a right to know that the decision makers are clear-headed and
setting a positive example for our children with their own behavior. We have
more to fear from drugged politicians and police than some high school
football players. Set an example and let the real truth be known.
