GROW HOUSES AND HOME INVASIONS
Re: "High times in Calgary," (Feb.9). "Every time we take out a grow,
there's somebody that isn't exposed to the potential for a home invasion,"
CPS Staff Sgt. Roger Chaffin says. It is precisely these kind of misleading
statements by the police that completely undermine their credibility. There
is absolutely no connection between grow houses and home invasions. Unless
you count the times where the armed gangs break in crying "freeze" and
brandishing automatic weapons against people who grow plants.
