MORE LIKE HIM
Kudos to Stan Burnett, ["Citizen's Duty" Feb. 20, City Weekly]. While no
one wants to see impaired drivers on the road, the war on drugs has already
done enough damage to the Constitution and Bill of Rights to allow yet
another feel-good law to trample remaining civil liberties under the guise
of political expediency.
It is indeed a citizen's duty to fight bad laws whether in the statehouse
or in the courthouse, and Burnett is to be commended for being a good
citizen. We need more like him!
