DRUG DIVERSION
Criminals Should Be Locked Up, First
Concerning the Feb. 25 article, "Mustang driver in deadly crash was in
drug diversion program": Who now has the responsibility to tell the
families of the people killed in this wreck that their loved ones are
dead because some bleeding hearts think that a pat on the wrist and a
shove out the door are sufficient punishment for felony drug possession?
Here's an idea. Lock the criminals up then give them a "strict, court-
supervised treatment program for drug abusers." No TV, no Internet, no
gym. Just three squares, a cot and a "strict, court-supervised
treatment program for drug abusers."
