MORALLY CHALLENGED

Re: More pot labs discovered across city, Feb. 14 edition.

Unless and until newspapers such as yours begin to include in their drug
stories a recognition of the fact that many feel the war on drugs is a
failure, the main source of funds for terrorists, unconstitutional, and a
state-sanctioned Hitler-like program designed to divert our attention from
more important issues by ruining the lives of the innocent few who happen
to enjoy certain drugs, this appalling program will continue much longer
than it should.

I suppose that in simply reporting what the police are doing to us without
allowing any discussion of whether or not the laws they are enforcing are
just or effective, you are merely following a long line of morally
challenged headline writers from the past.
