We would like to thank you for the work done by the Media Awareness
Project. We congratulate you on your many fine articles. In today's
world, this type of truth in media is of utmost importance.

My name is Eileen Erdelt, and I am the Producer of Eugene's 'Cannabis
Television'. Our show is a weekly series covering topics like the war
on drugs, industrial hemp and medical marijuana. Our program is
almost two years old, and we feel it also plays a part in educating
our fellow-citizens about Cannabis and the importance of
decriminalizing it for industrial as well as medicinal/spiritual use.
We often use news items from MAP on 'Cannabis TV'...Thank you again
for your fine articles.

We are known here in Eugene to be pro-hemp...lots of hippies...and
another way we will be calling attention to Cannabis is to hold a
HEMPFEST this summer! Yes, we, a grassroots group of Eugeneans known
as the Cannabis Liberation Front, raised enough money to rent the
largest, most central park in downtown Eugene on July 19, 2003 to hold
the first annual 'Emerald Empire Hempfest'. We are busy inviting
speakers, bands, and vendors of hemp products, (ice-cream...building
materials...) to join us in a celebration of Cannabis. The event will
be free to the public, and we hope to make it as successful as our
friends do in Washington with the 'Seattle Hempfest'.
