Let me take the opportunity, on the occasion of the 100,000th archived
DrugNews item, to thank all who have put so much effort into the
success of this site. Changing opinions and attitudes with reasoned
argument aimed at reaching a mass audience through the media was the
single most effective strategy envisioned to end the drug war.
The MAP site allows me to engage in a friendly competition to get
letters published. I can keep an eye on drug-law related news items
and respond to them in a timely manner. I also get to see what my
fellow MAP letter writers have published. New ideas from a different
perspective can then be incorporated into letters I write. I also like
to hang out at the chat when I can spare the time, so thanks for
providing those services too.
On a personal note, I write about ten letters for every one that gets
published. It is a labor of love for myself to write them. I am not a
wealthy individual and cannot contribute financially to MAP. If you
enjoy reading my letters, please consider making a small donation on
my behalf. For your efforts, I will keep writing as many letters as I
can on behalf of liberty.
Once again, thank you very much to every person who makes the MAP site
the place for activists to meet.
