Congratulations to MAP and its key founders, Mark Greer, Matt Elrod
and Richard Lake and the dozens of other editors, newshawks and staff
people that make it work, on the archiving of MAP's 100,000th article
today.
The success of MAP and other Internet activists in creating a needed
public debate on the U.S.'s shameful drug laws and policies
demonstrates the true strength of our democracy.
I only have cause for optimism as MAP has shown the way in this
"electonic" age of communications to restore grass roots democracy to
a society which has largely been failed by the conventional media to
educate the public and promote progressive social policies.
I am proud to be a small part of this effort,
Sincerely,
jackl (MAP staff editor)
