Peter McWilliams died in the summer of 2000
(http://www.mapinc.org/mcwilliams.htm).
It was strange, how intensely his death effected me. I had only read
one of his books, "Ain't Nobody's Business If You Do." We shot a few
emails back and forth. That's all. Yet I took his death personally,
and wanted to fight back. I joined MAP.
MAP is a kind of therapy - it helps me deal with the unproductive
feelings of hopelessness and depression regarding the Drug War. In
helping myself, I'm helping others. Together, we make the situation a
little less hopeless and depressing - one PUB LTE at a time.
