Dear Friends,
Thank you for reaching the milestone of archiving 100,000 news stories about the world's drug problem and drug policies. MAP Inc. is one of the most profoundly important resources available to those who do serious work in this field. I have been using the MAP Drug News Archive in my writing and research on an average of once per week since it started. Whenever I am asked to give a speech I go back to the MAP archive to increase the depth of my knowledge and to learn the latest news.
In the course of interviews, I am always referring reporters and
researchers to the MAP Archive. There is simply no other resource
like it. Your search engine works very well.
This volunteer effort is probably the largest and most effective
volunteer program that has ever been mounted in the thirty-plus year
history of the drug policy reform movement.
I thank every volunteer and funder for making my work more effective,
and saving me very valuable time.
Again, thank you, and congratulations!
Sincerely yours,
Eric E. Sterling, President

After 30 years of a failed "war on drugs," it is time to control
drugs. Regulation is pro-control, prohibition isn't. Regulation is
built on laws impossible under prohibition.
