WHAT ABOUT THE WAR ON DRUGS?
It really sickens me every time I turn on the TV I see thousands of people
demonstrating against the war in Iraq. It sickens me even more to know the
demonstrators are doing it to our young men and women who are there doing a
job to defend what we believe in, our Freedom. It's a gift to be able to
walk to go to places without being afraid of those who would want to try
once again to bomb our country, or to destroy our beliefs or break us
mentally. It sickens me to know how ignorant demonstrators are that, because
of the wars, we are/were able to rid people who are undoubtedly, labeled as
cowards, murderers, and bullies. It sickens me to know that all of the
energies those demonstrators have are directed for the wrong causes.
Anti-war demonstrators, why aren't you all up there at the Capitol Bldg. and
the City Hall demonstrating to our politicians about the war on drugs? And
what about those who are responsible for bringing those drugs into our
country, distributing and selling them to our children? And what about
alcohol? Why aren't you demonstrating on that, too?
If it's not a fact by now, it's true that drugs and alcohol killed more
people than all of those who fought in all the wars.
Why don't all of you get more involved by being members of the Armed-Forces
and fight the war too? Or at least the war against drugs.
You're really enjoying the freedom men and women fought for you, and you
show you appreciation to them in a negative way.
It's because of wars like these that you can express your feelings by
demonstrating.
So, get real, you demonstrators. Better yet, get a life.
