LET 'LIBERATION' BEGIN AT HOME
Regarding the thoughtful editorial on Tuesday: "CLEARING THE LENS: Even the
'fog of war' can't hide a desperate Iraqi regime"
To most in the world, the United States is in no position to "liberate" anyone.
One-quarter of the world's prisoners sit in a U. S. jail or prison even
though we have fewer than 5 percent of the world's population. Not exactly
the "Land of the Free" in the eyes of most of the world's people.
To most of the world's population, we are invaders--not liberators.
