ALCOHOL DANGER
LONG-TIME users of cannabis all seem to agree on one thing: you are safe
using cannabis as long as you don't take it with alcohol. They believe that
if you do, you are in trouble because cannabis behaves like a catalyst on
any drug you mix with it, magnifying its effects and all its dangers to the
user.
Anecdotal evidence seems to suggest that cannabis does not induce
dependence or psychosis when taken on its own. By contrast, alcohol-induced
psychosis and addiction are recognised as a major risk in all drinkers.
Could it be that cannabis is taking the blame for alcohol-induced illness
in people who drink alcohol and smoke cannabis at the same time?
