IT SEEMS that in this State, under a Labor Government, if you are a
dope-smoking, same-sex couple you are in clover. The cannabis Bill makes
me wonder how many kids will turn to drugs as a cheaper alternative to
alcohol and cigarettes. After all, the penalty for being high is only a
"telling off" by the police. How many more people are going to drive a car
while under the influence of cannabis? The politicians who bring in these
laws are usually long gone when the consequences of them are still being
felt by the community.
