CANNABIS AND PAIN
The GreenCross Medicinal Cannabis Support Group has for the past five
months been seeking to educate members of United Future Party about the
medicinal use of cannabis under medical supervision. They choose not to
support the issue but cannot or will not give one scientific or rational
reason why they condemn the sick and suffering to lives of misery and pain.
Paul Adams would only repeat "I once saw cannabis damage someone" when
asked his reasons for not supporting the issue. He chose not to comment on
the medical support I presented to him. Mr. Adams also told me, "Don't be
so dramatic", when I told him of the suffering the denial of cannabis
causes and that "there are other things you can use that are just as
good". Six weeks and numerous phone calls later Mr. Adams has failed to
relieve our members suffering by informing us of what those " things" are.
Many of our members believe the extreme attitude and lack of interest in
showing some humanity and compassion by a party that supposedly stands for
caring family values is sadly hypocritical to say the least.
