ATHLETES SINGLED OUT
Drug tests should be based only on illegal activities. Suspicion of
enhancement drugs such as steroids would be legitimate reasons to run random
tests. If athletes aren't thought to be abusing drugs, why is there a need
to test them?
Athletes should not be singled out. They are not the only ones representing
the school. If random athletes are tested, random club members, coaches and
staff should also be tested. All of these people play an equal role in the
school's environment.
