DRUGS ARE BAD, PERIOD

In all my life I have never felt ashamed of being a Canadian until this
year. If it's not one embarrassment, it's another. What is going on?

All other countries are working toward a better future, unlike Canada and
its government. Are they trying to destroy us?

First it was the very bad choice of not standing by our closest neighbour.
Now Canada looks like a big joke wanting to decriminalize pot!

"Some people, because of it (the existing law), might have a criminal record
that will be a shadow over (them) ... for the rest of their lives," Chretien
said.

If you don't want to be shadowed over by the charge of possessing an illegal
drug, then stop using them. I mean, really, drugs are bad, period.

I can see a lot of idiots saying "Well, it's okay by law, so I will start
lighting up a little at work seeing as it's 'legal' to possess a small
amount." How convenient, it fits in a cigarette package, all the while
risking the lives of others they work with. I honestly think that's what's
happening in Parliament -- discussing our lives while smokin' it up.

I have always known that pot is the same as alcohol -- both impair judgment.
And the judgment of our government is definitely impaired.

Come on people, Canada is our country, not just theirs. Clue in and start
helping make it a wonderful place to live, like I know we can. Aside from
our government, I love our country! If we keep getting these idiots running
Canada, imagine what it will be like for our kids in 20-30 years' time.

(Scary thought, but we doubt any employer would let someone light up at
work, any more then they'd let them slug back a beer)
