ENFORCEMENT ALONE A PROVEN FAILURE IN DRUG FIGHT
David Murray's statements that Vancouver's safe injection site would
jeopardize U.S. security is illogical (Canada's drug policy draws U.S.
warning, May 2). How could it threaten the U.S. if a few Canadian addicts
are spared from death?
What does it tell us about U.S. policy-makers that they would threaten us
with tighter border controls because we have compassion for drug users?
