REHAB IN AMERICA
I appreciate being born in and living in America, greatest country still in
the world. It's where even people in our jails can be given proper medical
care. But what about people not in jail? What about the people on the
street who need drug/alcohol rehabilitation?
I have recently searched until I dropped for a rehab clinic that would
accept a friend of mine who had no insurance and basically no home. Why, in
America, do these people get turned away from this type of necessary
treatment when we give it to those in our jails? Must he commit a crime to
get treated?
