THE POINT IS...

THE FEDERAL government's latest position on decriminalizing marijuana is
not surprising. We have been subconsciously lead in this direction for years.

Let me explain.

My friend and I were smoking a joint last week and talking about the
present laws, the Liberal government's shift in position and, of course,
the enjoyment we attain when smoking a joint.

An hour later we got the munchies, so we went to this burger joint and had
a small feast. On the way home, we drove over a curb and ended up doing
damage to the ball joints which had to be replaced.

We had the car towed to this mechanic, but we didn't want him to work on
the car because the place was a bit of a clip joint.

Seeing as how we didn't have any more money to tow the car again we walked
to another mechanic across town, but he treated us the same as the first
mechanic. Turns out their two shops had a joint venture going. As a result,
I ended up with a lot of pain in my knee joints and we had to hitchhike home.

Just my luck, a police car pulled up and told me it was unsafe and illegal
to hitchhike so I stopped because I didn't want to get arrested and spend
the night in the joint.

Finally, we made it home and, seeing as how the night was still young, we
sparked up another joint and ... and ... what was my point again?
