MARIJUANA: POSITION LAUGHABLE
Dear Editor,
Lately, I have been missing my daily dose of comic relief from the former
Iraqis information minister, so I want to thank BC Solicitor General [and
Fort Langley-Aldergrove MLA] Rich Coleman and federal Canadian Alliance
[and Abbotsford-Langley] MP Randy White for taking up the slack with their
rear-guard defense of Canada's pot laws, which according to last week's
Leger poll, is unwanted by the vast majority of Canadians [Chretien pot
policy slammed, May 2, Langley Advance News].
The PM is "in a panic," says White. C'mon - when was the last time Chretien
panicked?
"I don't believe they've actually sat down with our friends to the south,"
Coleman said.
Kind of like how the U.S. consults us about softwood lumber?
The Coleman-White show will go on in spite of the wishes of the B.C. and
Canadian majority in favour of legalization.
And like the Iraqi information minister, once it's all over, maybe I will
kind of miss them. Comedy like this is priceless.
