TWO PLANTS PER HOUSE
TWO cannabis plants per house is the limit under the Government's cannabis
reform laws, State Parliament was told yesterday.
During last month's Legislative Assembly debate on the Cannabis Control
Bill 2003, now before the Upper House, the Opposition argued the laws could
mean that if four people were sharing a house, they could get away with
eight plants and only be fined.
But Health Minister Bob Kucera said yesterday advice from the Crown
Solicitor confirmed the legislation would not allow an infringement notice
if more than two plants were found on the same premises.
