MARIJUANA HAS NO REDEEMING SOCIAL VALUE

It seems to me the authorizing of another national opiate, to go with
alcohol and tobacco, runs against all logic.

Marijuana is a drug used to get stoned on, has no redeeming social value,
and is the brainchild of the moron Jean Chretien and his Liberal
travellers, to divert attention away from the incompetence displayed by his
government. To permit it is to promote a simple, but powerful concept that
in the case of the evil weed, will encourage a new generation to start
smoking.

I thought we were working to get a whole new generation to STOP smoking. At
my mid-'60s age, I have never tried the stuff, but who knows, if the the
booze wagon chick (babe to you Gen-Xers) sold reefers on the golf course,
one might be tempted to quell the agony of a bad slice with a couple of drags.
