HERE'S WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT: MARIJUANA USE
When I read the recent "Pot users, step out of your haze" letter on the
Readers' Page, I was enraged.
I'm a month short of 51 and I'm just now finding out that I've been ripped
off for 35 years. I mean, I've been getting mellow, sometimes I've had the
munchies and, on occasion, even the giggles. But I've never had a "trip" --
bad or otherwise.
When I was a teenager in the 1960s, we all tried LSD and MDA. So I know
what a trip is.
However, when this letter-writer pointed out that I was supposed to be
"tripping" on bud, I was astonished and more than a little upset. Just wait
until I find the guy I've been getting my pot from. The smoke's gonna hit
the fan. Count on it.
