BACKWARD ANTI-DRUG POLICY WRONG PRIORITY FOR OTTAWA
I was saddened, but not surprised to read about the Conservative
government's proposed backward anti-drug strategy.
We face several massive problems in the world today that demand our
attention.
How can the Tories justify wasting precious resources on dismantling
our proven harm reduction programs and funding a misguided war on
marijuana? The Harper government has not fulfilled Canada's
commitments to AIDS relief in Africa or to the Kyoto Accord. It's time
to get its priorities straight.
