PRO-MARIJUANA LOBBY USING MEDICAL SMOKESCREEN
Two things never cease to amaze me. First, how the pro-marijuana lobby from
outside Canada is so well published in our local newspapers; and second,
their paucity of factual evidence.
Christopher Largen (View from the U.S. on decriminalizing marijuana, Sun
letters, May 21) needn't wither away because he's deprived of marijuana.
The active medicinal ingredient of marijuana is available in Marinol tablets.
However, he does deserve a string quartet to serenade him as he crafts his
purple prose.
