I DISAGREE PART 2
ANTHONY BOURNE, who seeks proof that marijuana causes schizophrenia
(Letters, 22/5) obviously doesn't watch TV. Doctors and health ministers
are always talking about it.
He obviously doesn't know anyone who has become mentally ill through
recreational use of marijuana and has ended their life. Nor has he had a
mentally ill relative with schizophrenia through no fault of their own.
I have on both accounts.
This "low-grade" drug makes people suicidal and depressed.
People have been more hysterical about SARS, which has killed 500 people
worldwide, than this horrendous drug that has killed and destroyed
thousands of lives Australia wide.
