Texas-Style Tulia Justice

WHAT ABOUT DRUG ISSUE?

I understand Thom Marshall's concerns over the actions of the undercover
agent who was hired by Tulia to address its drug problem and whose actions
were unacceptable (Marshall's May 23 column, "Politicking goes on while
Tulia 13 wait").

But has Marshall forgotten that the whole reason for this undercover
operation was because of Tulia's drug problems? Because of one officer's
indiscretion, there will be drug dealers turned loose -- along with the
innocent.

Under the circumstances, there doesn't seem to be any other solution.
