LOBBY GROUPS STRONGLY SUPPORT DECRIMINALIZING MARIJUANA
Regarding the editorial "We know war on drugs isn't working" (Esquimalt
News, May 14):
Please explain how "hitting the dealers and providing counselling and
treatment for the users" differs from the American approach?
Come to think of it, how is it any different to the approach used for
decades, here and in America?
The point is moot anyway because it will never work. Prohibition will never
work.
Never has. Never will. Legalizing all drugs is the only way to reduce the
harm and heartbreak of drugs.
