ALCOHOL IS ABUSED MORE THAN MARIJUANA
I'd like to know how it's appropriate to draw such a hard and fast line
between marijuana use and other drugs like alcohol, tobacco and caffeine. On
the CBC Web site, I found this Quick Fact: "Cannabis remains the most common
drug of abuse in Canada, Mexico and the United States."
But isn't alcohol by far the most abused drug in all of North America? I
continue to ask people a simple question when this debate comes up: "Who are
you more wary of in a dark alley, a stumbling drunk, or a sprawling stoner?"
