TWISTED LOGIC

THE LIBERALS will double sentencing for pot growers at the same time as
they will decriminalize smoking pot. It soon will be possible in Canada, as
it has long been in the United States, to receive harsher sentences for
growing or trafficking marijuana than for aggravated sexual assault with a
firearm. As a citizen, I am outraged. As a pot smoker, I wonder why I am
forced by my elected officials to buy from criminals, who, by their twisted
logic, are worse than sex offenders. Let's not be a paternal society, let's
be a just society instead.
