ONTARIO TORIES WANT CHUVALO TO SEEK OFFICE
Ontario's Tories are trying to recruit controversial former heavyweight
boxer George Chuvalo to run for the party in a Toronto riding, party
sources say. The Tories have been promoting Mr. Chuvalo and his campaign
against drug abuse for several months. He was Canadian heavyweight boxing
champion from 1958 to 1961 and from 1964 until he retired in 1979.
