QUESTION ARGUMENT IN EDITORIAL
Re: Ottawa playing catchup (editorial, June 10, Sentinel-Review).
If the courts are not permitted to disallow laws that breach the Canadian
Charter of Rights and Freedoms, what is the point of having the Charter in
the first place? Presumably you favour ditching the Charter and allowing
Parliament the freedom to pass any damn law it wants.
