Dear Editor: Re: Sifting through the smoke, June 6, Flamborough Post.

Youth is no excuse to break the law? I agree. Do you think the denial of a
beneficial medication to the sick and dying justifies civil disobedience of
a clearly unjust law? How about the fact every drug policy work done in the
past century, 25 to be exact, has recommended decriminalization (many
legalization) of personal marijuana possession?

The marijuana possession laws beg for civil disobedience. Enjoy your
martinis, for until the hypocrisy is ended, few people are listening to
your rhetoric.
