ONTARIO POT SMOKERS MAY HAVE MELLOW SUMMER
The Ontario Court of Appeal opened the door to a risk-free summer for most
pot smokers yesterday by refusing to suspend a lower-court ruling that has
thrown the law into disarray.
Government lawyers had asked the court to reinstate the law pending an
appeal of a ruling that, in effect, there is no valid law against marijuana
possession.
