TENANT PROBABLY SICK FROM SMOKE
To the editor:
Re: "Tenant tending legal grow-op," June 11.
For many years my father was a heavy smoker (tobacco, not marijuana). Every
morning, like Mr. Van Den Nieuwendyk, he would vomit. The vomiting stopped
when he quit smoking. As a result, I wonder if Mr. Van Den Nieuwendyk's
vomiting isn't caused by his smoking "30 to 40 joints a day."
I highly doubt that Mr. Van Den Nieuwendyk's demise will be caused by his
next "good cold or flu," or even by AIDS. I expect to hear, eventually,
that he died of lung cancer, caused by excessive smoking.
