BIBLE SAYS 'ALL GREEN PLANTS ARE GOOD'

Jim Horning, like others in the prison industry, has a severe separation
from the truth and did not state all the facts. Why isn't it accurate to
blame corrections officers (letter, "Don't blame COs for incarcerations,"
on June 4) for overuse of the prison system since you are responsible for
passing and perpetuating the legislation regarding cannabis (marijuana),
when you take into account your unions work to enable laws that in fact do
just that?

Why does Horning think animosity is misplaced toward him and our judicial
system, when he supports the prohibition of cannabis? Why doesn't Horning
feel responsible for the ever-increasing inmate population, when he belongs
to a union that does support that crime.

We don't condone illegal drug use, but doesn't the prison industry go many
steps further, through their respective unions, and strive for the
discredited cannabis laws, and in fact profit from the crime? Who taught
you the plant cannabis is a drug to begin with, when it is 100 percent pure
plant? If we stop overusing the incarceration system, what will Horning do
for employment?

While using marijuana is illegal, isn't it biblically wrong to cage your
brother for using a plant, when the Bible says all the green plants are
good on literally the very first page of the Bible?

Is denying the truth a healthy quality for people in the prison industry?
Doesn't Horning expose another shortcoming, that of caging humans by way of
revoking probation or parole, just because they have THC in their urine?

And didn't Hitler make similar claims, mandating it was wrong to be a Jew?

Cannabis prohibition is uncivilized and is a very serious crime, not just
to me but to Christ God Our Father, The Ecologician, who sent me.
