Kudos for publishing the story "A Quarter Ounce a Day" [June 20]. Your
story amply shows that not only is marijuana relatively safe on the
risk/benefit scale, it is cost effective! Could it be that
prescription-drug manufactures support marijuana prohibition in order
to protect their bottom line? Nah .. they're in the helping and
healing business.
