"How Not To Fight The War On Drugs" (June 24).
Thomas Coleman and Tulia, Texas, are not the problem. They are just
the symptoms of a greater problem: Our counterproductive war on the
users and sellers of certain (politically selected) drugs.
Sting operations don't get drugs off the streets. Any drug dealers
arrested will soon be replaced. They always are.
