POT SMOKERS SPOIL FAMILY OUTING
To the Editor,
I live near Brannen lake. I recently took my three children under age
12 to the lake and was shocked and disappointed at the young adults at
the lake. They pulled a joint out of a backpack and lit it.
It is illegal to drink alcohol at the lake or in a public place and it
is illegal to smoke pot at the lake or in a public place.
We are considerate of people who smoke cigarettes, not to interfere
with people who do not smoke. Pot smokers do not show the same
consideration.
I don't take my children to the bar to watch people drink, and I do
not take my children to the lake to watch people get high.
