HAS HISTORY GONE TO POT?

I am writing to express my support to the staff at Buddys Cafe in Worthing.
Having recently visited Worthing after travelling some 250 miles, I have
nothing but praise for these people who selflessly put themselves on the
line for the sake of others.

Local businesses seem busy, there must be an increase of income for the
petrol stations, restaurants, bed and breakfasts and shops with the
visitors from the Cafe. I have heard of the latest police operation, and
must ask how much has this cost the homeowners of Worthing? And if the
police seriously wanted to close it down, why did they broadcast the fact
on the local radio? It seems, if you don't mind me saying, a little bizarre
that the police have decided to wait 11 months before doing anything, and
the previous cafe Bongchuffer was closed down by the owner, not the police!
So why have the police suddenly become heavy handed? Has there been a
sudden change to the silent policy they have kept for the last 11 months?
Have they only just realised that these people are breaking the law? Chris
Baldwin deserves an award for his work, Pleasantly designed cafes with a
community spirit, employment of locals pushing down unemployment, providing
information to the public about political issues, helping the sick,
providing space for those who were outcasts of society, providing sensible
guidelines. There is far worse behaviour from drunks than cannabis users,
and if the town of Worthing would like to see there hard earned cash on
imprisoning a man with spasticated legs, and others for helping in his
campaign, carry on letting the police persecute him.

Is he a criminal for helping others? If so who is the victim of his crime?
Or is Chris the victim of this bizarre law that calls him a criminal? The
law will eventually change and if Chris gets locked up before it does, I
hope he gets a personal pardon from the government. He is a pioneer, he is
an example of how cannabis and the communities can live side by side. Free
Chris Baldwin And the people of Worthing, be proud of what you
have.....living history!
