CANNABIS LEGAL

It may interest readers to know that cannabis is now legal in Canada's
biggest province, Ontario. While the Supreme Court of Canada considers
a constitutional challenge to the prohibition of cannabis, lower
courts have already struck down the law covering possession of up to
30g of cannabis.

The courts are now throwing out cases involving small amounts of
cannabis and police officers have been advised to discontinue laying
charges. The Supreme Court decision is expected by year's end and is
being bolstered by the Canadian Government's inability to justify the
prohibition of cannabis and its unjust persecution of cannabis users.
