WHEN WILL IT END?
What the police are saying about having to make cuts elsewhere, such as to
youth and gang issues, in order to continue fighting crime in the Downtown
Eastside smacks of a threat.
These police officers are threatening to reduce services if they do not
receive more money. And how are we to know that if more money is given to
fight Downtown Eastside crime, the assaults and drug addictions will end?
