KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR POT

As grow season begins to peak in the city, police are reminding
residents to keep their eyes open for suspicious people hanging around
fields in the area.

City of Kawartha Lakes OPP say now is the time people growing dope in
the area will be tending to their crops in city fields.

OPP say marijuana growers often leave their vehicles on the road in
less-traveled areas or hide them off the road and then visit their
plants on foot or ATV.

Another tip to keep watch for is water containers or fertilizer stored
close to marijuana grows for convenience.
