POLICE CALLED TO FIND POT

An 18-year-old woman called police after being robbed of her marijuana
in Thornhill Thursday afternoon.

The victim told police she was on Thornhill Public School property
when two men on mountain bikes approached, indicating they had a gun.

The woman was forced to turn over two bags of the drug, which has been
decriminalized through court rulings.

The victim did not sustain injuries and the suspects fled the
scene.

The first suspect is described as an 18-year-old black male,
approximately six feet tall, weighing 162 pounds. He was believed to
be wearing a white jersey with navy stripes and a diamond earring in
each ear. He was riding a red bike.

The second suspect is described as an 18-year-old black male, six feet
tall, weighing approximately 142 pounds. He was also riding a red
mountain bike and is believed to have been wearing a black T-shirt and
blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call York Regional Police or
contact Crime Stoppers.
