ARYAN LEADER GUILTY IN PRISON DRUG RING
The inmate adopted by two San Francisco lawyers convicted in the
dog-mauling death of their neighbor pleaded guilty Thursday to running
a criminal enterprise from behind bars.
Paul ``Cornfed'' Schneider, 41, a leader in the Aryan Brotherhood
prison gang, admitted in federal court to organizing the smuggling of
methamphetamine into Pelican Bay State Prison and ordering a 1995
robbery in which a Sonoma County sheriff's deputy was killed.
He was already serving a life term for robbery and attempted
murder.
Last year, his attorneys and adoptive parents -- Marjorie Knoller and
Robert Noel of San Francisco -- were found guilty of involuntary
manslaughter in the dog-mauling death of Diane Whipple.
