'CANNABIS CONDOS' PLANNED BY FARMER
A Canadian farmer is betting his farm on a plan to rent out plots in a
"cannabis condo" to people permitted to use medical marijuana so they
can grow their own pot.
Morris Johnson wants to rent out the small indoor plots in a former
schoolhouse in Lake Alma, a village just north of the border in
Saskatchewan.
"We spent more than I like to admit," said Johnson, who already grows
pot to help his wife Arla battle muscle pains she endures with her
severe multiple sclerosis. "This is worth it, as far as I'm concerned.
This is something that needs to be done."
Ottawa has given more than 600 Canadians the right to use medical
marijuana.
