CASE AGAINST CANNABIS
The cannabis legalisers are running scared. For decades smoked raw cannabis has
had its alleged medical benefits used to justify legalisation despite the
proven links of cannabis with lung disease and schizophrenia.
Now trials are under way to isolate the components of cannabis (out of the
hundreds of compounds, many carcinogenic, that are absorbed when it is smoked)
and deliver them as a spray or capsule
And the legalisers don't like it. They want to smoke crude cannabis, usually
mixed with tobacco.
