SPEND TIME WITH TEENS TO HELP KEEP THEM OFF DRUGS
Teen Time
IF YOUR POCKET'S feeling rather thin, here's an antidote: A survey of teens
and parents released by the National Center on Addiction and Substance
Abuse says that the most effective way to keep kids off drugs is to stay
involved with them--keep them busy, teach them to handle stress, and don't
give them too much money. CASA President Joseph Califano says that "parents
and their conduct and attitudes have an enormous impact on their children."
It's time, not money, that will help kids stay straight.
